About the job

For the De'Longhi Braun Household GmbH headquarters in Neu-Isenburg (near Frankfurt am Main) we are looking for a Working Student in the R&D Laboratory.
As a working student, you will support the R&D laboratory department in the development and testing of electronics and motors for new motor-driven household products. You will have the opportunity to gain an insight into the development process of household appliances and gain industrial experience.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating daily operations within the electromechanical test laboratory.
  • Collaborating in the execution of tests on motorized household appliances.
  • Conducting measurements including temperature, voltage, power, force, torque, acoustics, and overall product performance.
  • Using statistical methods to evaluate and interpret test results.
  • Write comprehensive test reports in English independently.
  • Proficiency in navigating complex mechatronic system environments.
  • Conducting fault analyses to identify and address issues.
  • Providing support in the electronics development process for household appliances.
  • Executing precise soldering tasks as part of the laboratory activities.

Job requirements

  • Students in an engineering discipline (electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, precision engineering) or a comparable technical degree programme.
  • Number of hours per month by arrangement
  • Good knowledge of data acquisition and sensor technology
  • Analytical, creative and abstract thinking, strong problem solving skills
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Precise working methods and strong quality awareness
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English and German required
  • Good software skills: Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Knowledge of Altium Designer ECAD (or similar) an advantage
