Regarding the position:
We seek a motivated Supply Planning Specialist (m/f/d) to join our team. In this vital role, you will link the Sales and Supply Chain departments to optimize short-term goods supply.
You will oversee the management of goods to ensure the fulfillment of essential orders and maintain transparency regarding the availability of goods (avail-to-promise, excess inventory/inventory risks, etc.). Additionally, you will have the chance to develop processes and supply chain reporting further and take responsibility for projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
Management of the entire allocation of goods for the German market, considering critical inventory and strategic aspects.
Increasing the service level through an increased OTIF rate (On-Time In-Full deliveries).
Ensuring the availability of goods for necessary promotional orders.
Analyzing the current order situation and inventory to identify critical inventory situations early on Communicating/escalating critical items to interface departments and initiating targeted measures to minimize the impact on delivery capability
Development of a distribution plan for scarce inventory in close cooperation with sales and supply planning.
To increase transparency regarding delivery capability, standard reports and a KPI dashboard (especially OTIF) should be created and further developed.
Optimization of inventory management
Development of the supply chain by participating in projects or taking over (partial) project management.
Job requirements
Degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on supply chain management or comparable commercial training
At least three years of professional experience in supply chain management
Experience in analyzing and reporting on key figures
Experience as a (sub-)project manager
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, solution-oriented thinking, and a good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel). Additionally, they will have confident experience with ERP systems (good SAP knowledge desired) and a high sense of responsibility and assertiveness. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team are also required. Proficiency in both German and English is a must.
