We are looking for a Junior System and Cyber Security Administrator who ensures secure IT systems, supports incidents, manages security software, and collaborates internationally on projects.

Job description

The Junior Systems and Cybersecurity Administrator will play a key role in supporting the German & Austrian IT team to maintain and evolve the internal IT infrastructure at both local and international levels. The role is ideal for someone passionate about both system administration and cybersecurity, working in a dynamic environment with opportunities to grow.

This position also collaborates with the Group Cyber Security Competence Center to implement security guidelines and ensures that local IT operations align with global standards.


Main Responsibilities:

●       Participate in development projects to enhance the De’Longhi internal IT infrastructure at local and international levels.

●       Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and application experts to maintain an effective and secure IT environment.

●       Security Competence Center to implement IT cybersecurity architecture and tools.

●       Support the management of cybersecurity incidents to ensure a rapid and effective response.

●       Actively participate in cybersecurity Group projects, ensuring successful delivery at the local level.

●       Set up and maintain security software at the local level.

●       Manage and enforce access management rules and tools.

●       Coordinate with both local and Group-level teams to ensure the alignment of IT operations with global standards.

●       Document processes, configurations, and incident responses for effective communication and knowledge sharing.

Job requirements

  • High School Degree in Computer Science or Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering;

  • 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in system administrattion;

  • Basic understanding of Cyber Security standards, tools, and incident management;

  • Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, and network administration;

  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts (e.g., DNS, DHCP, VPN).

  • Fluency in spoken and written German & English.

  • Propensity for dynamism and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

    Strong sense of commitment, reliability, and determination to achieve results.
